Today I came across this stunning article on the effect flame retardants are having on our health and how we as consumers are herded like sheep into buying products that are seriously dangerous to our health. I am angry, angry today that consumers are misled and that to protect us from fire we are allowed to be slowly poisoned to death. Who gave the government the right to do this?
As a consumer you can choose a different route, but most people don't know about it. You can choose an item such as an organic mattress or an organic pillow that contains NO flame retardants and meets fire safety standards through the use of wool naturally. NO toxic fire retardant chemicals, no formaldehydes, Antimony, heavy metals, and no off gassing fullstop!!!
